End-User Remote Access

Nivek Group has formed a partnership with NinjaRMM and Splashtop. This partnerships allows Nivek Group to monitor computers and servers and then be able to connect remotely to each one of the computers or servers when we need to perform tasks. This partnership also allows Nivek Group to allow the End-Users of a Client to be able to connect to their work computer from another computer while out of the office. 

Per User, Per Month Cost

Depending on the agreement with the Client, there may be an additional charge for this feature or it may be included as part of the Monthly Service Agreement. Nivek Group and the Client’s Point of Contact team will already have discussed any additional charges, if there should be any. If you were provided this web link, then this is something that you will not need to worry about.

Once you have completed the sign-up process, you will simply go to https://NivekGroup.com/ninja to access the website to login for the End-User Remote Access.

End-User Permissions

The permissions that the End-Users will be granted will be able to access their assigned computer(s). Once you login using your Username/Password of the computer, you will be granted the same permission access as if you were in front of the computer and using it in person. If you do not see your computer or the computer you need, please reach out to the Nivek Help Desk at (720) 924-6060 to request the updated access level. 

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a requirement. This is a security that is in place by default and cannot be waived. The Two-Factor Authentication can be done by sending a text message to your cell phone (that was provided to Nivek Group at time of setup) or by utilizing the Google Authentication Application.

Privacy Policy and Limited Liability Agreement

Before using this feature, please review the Privacy Policy and the Limited Liability Agreement. By using this feature that has been provided to your company, you have reviewed and agree to the Privacy Policy and the Limited Liability Agreement that has set in place.

Signing Up Process

Initial Email Invitation

You will receive an email invitation from NinjaRMM similar to this one.

Click on the button for “Accept Invitation” and if the button does not work, then copy the link into your browser’s address bar.

Create Your Password

Enter your desired password.

Your password must contain 6 or more characters and have at least 2 of the following password criteria 

  • a lower case letter
  • an upper case letter
  • a special character (!@#$%^&*)
  • a number

Select your Multi-Factor Authentication Method, also known as Two-Factor Authentication.

SMS will sends a special code to your cell phone using text messge.

Authentication App is the method of using an app on your smart-phone, such as Google Authenticator, to provide a One-Time Login code.

If  you select the SMS method, enter the 6 digit code that you received in your text message.

ex: Your NinjaRMM verification code is: 123456. Reply HELP for help.

Please note the last 4 digits of the phone number that it is sending to. This is the phone number that Nivek Group was provided at time of account setup. If this number is incorrect, please reach out to the Nivek Help Desk at (720)924-6060 asking for us to update this right away.

If you choose the Authenticator App, you will need to follow the on-screen steps for the app that you select. For security reasons, we are not able  to list those steps. 

Once you have completed the set-up steps of the Authenticator App, you will need to enter the time-based code that it provides.

Once  you are logged in, you will see a listing of all the devices that you have permission to connect to. Hover your mouse over the device that you are wishing to connect to and then click on the Blue & White icon that is located on the right. The icon is call Splashtop.

The first time that you click on this, you will most likely need to install the SplashtopRMM tool on the computer you are using. All you will need to do is follow the on-screen prompts.
